All India Radio Kolkata- A broadcasting on 666 khz in DRM mode. 
Three (Morning, Afternoon and Evening) transmissions have been observed for the last few days.
High quality audio was received on Avion DRM receiver.

Vatican Radio DRM verification on 15775 Khz from SMG

Vatican Radio DRM English broadcast to South Asia was received on 17th November on 15775 khz.
Excellent reception. 100% decoded audio was noted with 12 meter long wire attached to Avion AV-DR-1401 DRM receiver.

Reception report was sent with audio clips via email on the following day. QSL, sticker and other stuffs was received on 12th December 2015.

BBC DRM transmission Signing on tune with nice time (seconds) countdown. Broadcasting from Nakhon Sawan, Thailand was received with simple built-in whip antenna of Avion DRM radio.

All India Radio Kolkata-A on 666 khz DRM Bangla news and Local News received. Excellent reception withouth antenna

All India Radio on 666 khz DRM broadcasting news at 0130 pm IST. High quality audio but No antenna (except in-built ferrite) needed for receiving DRM medium wave.

The transmitter at chinsurah (Mogra) is more than 100 km away from my receiving place.

Broadcast originated from Chinsurah  medium wave transmitter site.

General Overseas Service Of All India Radio and Vividhbharti DRM simulcasting on 17895 khz shortwave

All India Radio external service and Vividhbharti DRM simulcasting was heard around 1105 UTC on 17895 khz with two different audio channels on shortwave. Very good reception noticed for both cases from the Eastern part of India.

Receiver used Avion AV-DR-1401 DRM receiver.

Radio New Zealand International signing on on 9700 khz

Radio New Zealand International English transmission for Cook Islands, Tonga, Samoa received 17th November 2015 around 1651 UTC on 9700 khz.

Broadcast started with interval signal followed by station Id by OM. SINPO was 33333.

Vatican Radio English DRM service for Asia with interval sound

Broadcasting from Santa Maria di Galeria on 17th November 2015, Vatican radio was received on shortwave DRM mode on 15775 at 1530 UTC.

The whole program was decoded very efficiently by Avion DRM AV-DR-1401. No audio drop at all.

AIR DRM (All India Radio) broadcasts two different channels on a same shortwave frequency from Bengaluru

All India Radio broadcasts two different channels/services (Chinese and Tibetan) on 15040 khz simultaneously from Bengaluru TX site.
Both channel was received very efficiently by Avion AV-DR-1401 DRM receiver with simple whip antenna.

Vatican Radio DRM broadcast from Santa Maria di Galeria received on Avion AV-DR-1401 DRM receiver

Vatican radio DRM broadcast received on 15775 khz from 1530 to 1550 UTC using Avion AV-DR-1401 DRM receiver. Once again excellent audio was observed. Almost 99%
of the audio was received. Receiving place is 7215 km away from actual transmitter site.

Excellent India made DRM receiver Avion AV-DR-1401 Receving BBC DRM with simple whip antenna

BBC world service transmitted from Nakhon Sawan (Thailand) is producing very good audio with simple whip antenna on 17790 khz. with Jouraline news service.

The New Life Station KNLS, Anchor Point, Alaska

The New Life Station KNLS from Anchor Point, Alaska  was logged at 1500 UTC on 2nd August 2015.
'Alaska flag song in Post card from Alaska', 'True Stories from the Bible in contemporary English' and 'Radio Propagation for beginners with songs from 80s' 90' and today were heard on 9920 khz.

SINPO was 34233. fair signal strength , moderate noise and slight fading was noted.
Reception report was sent via email and posted on the following day. 

Gaweylon Tibetan Radio (FEBA) via Dhabbaya

Gaweylon Tibetan Radio broadcasting from Dhabbaya was received on 15215 khz on the day of 2nd June 2015.  Tibetan news, cultural programmes and songs presented through out the broadcast time (from 1200UTC to 1229 UTC). Broadcast ended with frequency and contact information of Gaweylon Tibetan Radio.

Reception was very good. SINPO- 44444.  Reception report sent via email.
A very nice and detailed email from Mr.Anil Alfred confirmed and promised QSL card and Letter of Verification on 3rd June 2015. An Envelop containing a QSL card, QSL cover letter, view card, postcard and business card was received via registered post on 15th July 2015.

AWR Amharic service via Kigali, Rwanda

AWR (Adventist World Radio) in Amharic language was received on 23rd March 2015 via Kigali TX site in Rwanda. Religious program on 9490khz from 1700UTC received with fair signal strength, moderate noise and fading. SINPO was 34233.

 At the beginning of  Transmission Period B14 October 6, 2014, Adventist World Radio began a relay service from the Deutsche Welle shortwave relay station near Kigali in Rwanda Africa.

However, Deutsche Welle subsequently announced that they plan to close their African relay station at the end of Transmission Period B14 March 28, 2015 and then dismantled the station. So the last AWR broadcasts from DW Kigali therefor ended at the same time

Radio Spceshuttle International via Kostinbrod, Bulgaria on 13800 khz

Radio Spaceshuttle International from Kostinbrod, Bulgaria was received on 3rd May 2015. This time they broadcasted on 13800 khz from 2000hrs to 2100hrs UTC towards Japan
SINPO on 13800 khz was 44444. Very good strength and clear audio, despite slight and occasional fading.

The transmission was dedicated to Japan but reception was excellent in India. Broadcast started with Finish song followed by station ID and frequency announcement.

Radio Luxembourg (RTL) on 234 khz longwave from Beidweiler

Radio RTL Luxembourg was monitored via remote SDR in Netherlands on 8th December 2014. News program in French was observed between 1800 UTC to 1900 UTC on 234 khz longwave.

Reception was excellent SIO- 555

Reception report was emailed on the following day. A detailed verification card came into mailbox after two months on 5th January 2015

 

Deutsche Welle Amharic via Kigali, Rwanda

Deutsche welle's Amharic service was received via Kigali relay station on 23 March 2015, just a few days ago before termination of the facility. (Kigali relay )

Reception on 9610 khz was not good but was audible in spite of atmospheric noise and moderate faiding.  SINPO-34333

Reception report was emailed  to info@dw.de. The following QSL card was received in 12 days in my mail box.

Spaceshuttle Radio special programme on women's day that was on 8th March 2015. Very good reception on 9600 khz from 1800 to 1900 UTC.

Spaceshuttle Radio was received around 1854 UTC on 9600 khz just a few minutes prior to sign off. Reception was fair to good. SINPO was 34343. Moderate fading but clear speech and music was noted.

Radio Australia from Shepparton was logged on 12085 khz. 'Saturday night country music' was running at the time of reception.

Radio New Zealand International was logged on 31st January 2015. A song was playing called  'All my hope  on  god is founded'
Reception on 12085khz was fair.  SINPO 44333.

IRIB - Voice of the Islamic Republic Of Iran in English via Kamalabad, Iran

IRIB Voice of the Islamic Republic Of Iran was received on 21510 khz around 1110 UTC on 4th January 2015. Reception ( SINPO-44444. ) was very good on Sony ICF SW100 using its tiny telescopic antenna.
