AWR Amharic service via Kigali, Rwanda

AWR (Adventist World Radio) in Amharic language was received on 23rd March 2015 via Kigali TX site in Rwanda. Religious program on 9490khz from 1700UTC received with fair signal strength, moderate noise and fading. SINPO was 34233.

 At the beginning of 
Transmission Period B14 October 6, 2014, Adventist World Radio began a relay service from the Deutsche Welle shortwave relay station near Kigali in Rwanda Africa.

However, Deutsche Welle subsequently announced that they plan to close their African relay station at the end of Transmission Period B14 March 28, 2015 and then dismantled the station. So the last AWR broadcasts from DW Kigali therefor ended at the same time

Radio Spceshuttle International via Kostinbrod, Bulgaria on 13800 khz

Radio Spaceshuttle International from Kostinbrod, Bulgaria was received on 3rd May 2015. This time they broadcasted on 13800 khz from 2000hrs to 2100hrs UTC towards Japan
SINPO on 13800 khz was 44444. Very good strength and clear audio, despite slight and occasional fading.


The transmission was dedicated to Japan but reception was excellent in India. Broadcast started with Finish song followed by station ID and frequency announcement.
